Setting Up Terminal on POS

Overview

  • You can process credit card transactions with either Pax, Dejavoo or Poynt terminals. 
  • You have to first set up the terminal in Back Office. For Pax, you have to add terminal's serial number in POS. For Dejavoo it would be Register ID and Auth Key For Poynt, you don't have to do anything in POS.
     

Prerequisites

1. Contact support@retailtime.com to get Credit/Debit POS integration App installed in your Back Office.

 2. Go to Settings--->Store Settings--->select the store that you are using.

 

3. Click on the Payment Gateway tab.

4. Select the name of a credit card terminal you are going to use.

5. Click the Done button.
6. Synchronize POS app.

 

Instructions

Setting Up PAX on Windows Device

1. In POS, go to Settings--->Terminal Setup--->click Add Terminal button 

2. Input Serial Number of PAX Terminal and click Submit 

3. Click Done on the Terminal Setup screen

 

Setting Up PAX on Android/iPad 

1. Login to POS and go to Settings--->Terminal Setup--->click Add Terminal button 

2. Input Serial Number of PAX Terminal and click Submit

3. Click Done on the Terminal Setup screen.


Setting Up Dejavoo Terminal 

1. Login to POS and go to Settings--->Terminal Setup--->click Add Terminal button

2.  Enter the terminal's Register Id and Auth Key.
3.  Select the Submit button.


Setting Up Poynt Terminal

  • Other than what is listed in the Prerequisites at the beginning of this article, there is nothing you have to do to set up the Poynt terminal in RetailTime app.
